Are You Truly Ready to Recover?

Are You Truly Ready to Recover?

Let me tell you the plain truth. To recover from alcoholism, drug addiction, depression, or anxiety, you'll have to be ready, and you'll have to be serious. You cannot succeed unless you are willing to work hard, endure some discomfort, cooperate with your physician or therapist, and learn new habits. If you're not serious about change, then don't waste your time and money -- or worse, your family's time and money.

If you live in Oklahoma, and you're ready to change, contact me. I will conduct a thorough assessment of your mental, physical, and social health. For those to whom spirituality is important, this dimension will be assessed as well. Usually, this assessment can be done over the course of one or two talk sessions. If it seems necessary, however, I will request your medical records, and may even order laboratory studies and imaging studies. Once we have a comprehensive picture of where you are, we will work together to define where you want to go -- and then we'll start walking in that direction.

You won't need to travel! My practice is 100% telepsychiatry. I will come to you over the internet via a high-quality, secure, HIPAA-compliant audiovisual link. It works on any device with a web browser. There is no software to install, and you don't have to create an account. After the first few minutes you'll forget we're not in the same room.
